Ortansia Rhastoni is a sound explorer from thessaloniki, greece and is currently based in berlin. he studied composition, harmony, counterpoint and classical saxophone in the state conservatory and the aristotle university of thessaloniki. ortansia likes playing with sound in all possible ways, exploring the limits of organic and non organic textures while frequently collaborating with people from other artistic fields. his work revolves around experimentation and quirky grooves in a genre-fluid mixture of ambient, breaks, noise and avant garde. the term "maximalistic minimalism" is a nonsensical way of describing his music
